Life has ups and downs. My professional life is going well. I am seeking continuous education to enhance my skills as a therapist. I am actively participating in book club, webinars, you tube tips, reviewing material, etc to enhance my knowledge and leadership skills as a freshly new Arbonne Independent Consultant. I had my first presentation/party and it was a success.
I'm practicing positivity daily with my goals in my pocket each day. The goals are simple.
1. To pay off credit cards.
2. To pay off school loans/other debts
3. Buy our dream home
4. To go on a fabulous vacation with my hubby and son
Where will you be in 5 years? I hope to achieve at least 1/2 of this and I am working my butt off to see that I accomplish it!! Because I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
I am balancing the role of mommy, wifey, OT, and Independent Consultant. I'm reaching out to old friends, making new friends. I finally feel confident and comfortable in my own skin. Hopefully soon I can incorporate some form of physical fitness in my schedule, but as for now, I'm doing ok weight wise. My baby is healthy and getting big. I think he's the cutest thing I've ever seen! :) I'm so in love with him.
Other matters of my personal life...not so much. All I can say is that I pray that the demons get casted out quickly. Please pray for our family.
In Jesus Name,

Newest Adventure
Well I am taking the position of an Arbonne Consultant in which I am very excited. I'm on a team with the most amazing women. I feel empowered for the first time in a long time!
God has led me down this path. After attending my first Arbonne party, I
felt a constant pull towards becoming a consultant. I had seen the big picture after an invitee
meeting with regional vice president. I
want to build a future with this company.
I kept hearing the word “opportunity” over and over. What fascinates me is that these ladies and
gentlemen in the business are everyday people like you and me. I thought, “Well I can do this.” I quickly became sold and signed up without
looking back. Only God knows what’s in
store for the future. And I look forward
where this experience will take me and my family.
I am a believer in sisterhood and unconditional
friends. Arbonne is surrounded by
motivated, inspired and positive people to encourage me to be the best that I
can be. Being a woman is tough and I
think Arbonne will give me the right amount of confidence and improve my
overall well-being.
What Arbonne means to me is financial freedom, an
opportunity to give back to the world with my success and a chance to expand my
income while spending quality time with the people I love.
Healthy living is important to me, especially now having my
son. I love, love, love the products!! From skin care to the baby line to the
nutritional line, they work! I can’t
wait to share these products with you!
Many can be skeptical of this endeavor, but I am willing to put in the time and effort to make my business boom! Only time will tell...Joyce Meyer's message today was peace and patience. Finding peace in the storm and having patience to reap the fruit of the Holy Spirit. Can anyone else dig it?!
Amen sisters,

Then there were three...
My sweet baby boy was born 06/27/2012 at 3:31 pm at Providence Hospital. He was 6lb 6oz 20 inch long. It's been 8 weeks and I am in so in love with him. It was not easy in the beginning at all :) but I think I'm getting the hang of it.
I just love him! :) He's getting so big already. I start work on Monday. I took two extra weeks because I just needed it and now I am ready to reenter the workplace by force. I am so motivated to excel at my job and a new endeavor I am in the processing of starting. I am ready to soak up more knowledge to be the best I can be! I have a lot of great friends and family surrounding me now. I couldn't be happier. This is all because of HIM and the love of my son.
What a great feelings. Lord, Please continue to direct my every move. All in your name, Jesus.

Home Stretch
36 weeks along and I'm doing "ok." No one likes complainers but just for my records, I'd like to blog about what I am experiencing during this last lovely trimester:
1. Dupuytren's contracture in my right wrist- think of carpal tunnel's cousin. I am wearing a daytime and nighttime splint and going for outpatient hand therapy 2x weekly. PLEASE pray this goes away.
2. Swollen feet-ever watch Big Trouble in Lil China....they look like they are going to explode.
3. Increased tiredness and moodiness...to be expected.
4. Cravings have slowed down, although I still like sweets. Thank you God I am not obsessing over my weight nor I should be...this is the baby's house :)
5. I am sore and tight from the waist down and too tired to exercise...must exercise, must exercise!
6. Getting anxious for baby boy to arrive...nesting is settling in.
7. Difficultly to move, change positions and sleeping!- never have I thought it would be this hard to get around.
8. Baby is moving around like he's doing the worm lol- he's pressing on my bladder, moving his little butt around where you can physically see, and giving mommy butterfly feelings. It's the most amazing, strange sensation that every mother goes through.
Rob has been a God's send. I am blessed to have him. These last 8 months, he has painted our bedroom, kitchen, baby's room, redid the kitchen floors, detailed my car like brand new, attended every baby class with me,...the list goes on and on. May I just say that he has done this whole heartily without out me complaining or nagging (that much ;)). I think expecting mothers expect their husbands to do EVERYTHING all the while they are bitchy, rude, etc. I'll let you know how next pregnancy goes with this mentality lol...but for this little man, we are doing just fine. Thank you Jesus!!
Speaking of Jesus, my Lord and Savior, He has blessed us beyond belief. There's a little situation going on in my life that I need prayers, guidance and victory. Please dear God, help make the matters at hand resolve itself. And thank you for giving me wisdom to not stress about it because my baby and I do not need this. "For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans for your wellfare, not for woe! plans to give you a future full of hope." Jeremiah 29:11
Amen Amen I say to you!

3rd Trimester
28 weeks and counting....my belly is getting bigger, I am getting slower, he is moving more. This period of the pregnancy embarks a special bond between me and my little one. We are two peas in a pod. We sing, listen to music, exercise and sometimes have emotional moments. Rob enjoys talking to my stomach and giving me belly rubs. I'm learning all I can about breast feeding, baby basic care and the birth preparation. My registery is complete, invitations are sent and the nursery is coming along.
Bible study helps me keep things in perspective, not mention the most amazing women I have the pleasure of sharing things with. Knitting helps calms my nerves. Yoga helps me relax. My job helps me stay grounded and truly love people for who they are, not just the condition I am treating.
My family is of great support during this time. My cousin is planning the most amazing shower anyone could ask for. Rob and I are blessed beyond belief. He is the greatest partner and I love him with all my heart :)
Thank you Lord for blessing us. We pray that you continue to be the center of our universe and guide us through this next chapter. Amen.
I believe in miracles,

Hello,
I am 25 weeks and feel great. I am calm and cool...I think it's the yoga. I stand true by yoga. I did yoga 2x a week for a year before our wedding and I thought I was pretty calm! After all, these are happy times! Baby is moving about quite a bit! More active at night. Emotions are good and I hope they stay that way. I told Kristin, maybe this pregnancy is a blessing from God after not passing so many times. Who knows?
My dreams are more vivid, real and long. I keep dreaming about my previous employer. I am always angry in them. I need to let it go man, but they keep coming back. I am still angry at them. They did me wrong. Plain and simple
Hows my psychosocial?? I'm getting excited, scared and a little nervous. I know "mommy instinct" will kick in. It's just amazing how life turns out and how God can create a miracle.
Please pray for the growth of our baby boy. You are in my prayers as well.
Con todos mi amor,
Angela <3 <3

Welcome Spring
This weather is not only beautiful but a tad bizarre. It makes me want to get out in the garden, plant pretty flowers, and grow yummy veggies. I'm just not sure if this weather will stay. What I do know is that I am completely miserable with allergies so it definitely feels like spring to me. It's a damn shame me and baby can't enjoy it :(
Speaking of baby, he is doing fine! Moving around a lot more. He has the strongest sweet tooth. Maybe that's why I am having so many headaches because of all the sugar...?? I've decided to fast from sweets for 1 week and see if it will help because I still have headaches every day. I am starting to slow down. I am getting a little upset that I can't do as much around the house as I'd like. Hubby has been a big help. The nursery is almost done!! Rob took his time and is extremely proud of it. I can't wait to start putting in furniture and giving it character to house our sweet little boy.
I love you all. Please continue to pray for our baby. Thank you xoxo

Next Phase
Hello ya'll,
I am have missing in action as of late. I really would like to continue to document my journey and have you share the wonderful experience I am having being pregnant. I am 19 weeks, thank you Jesus. My body continues to change everyday and I am fine with it, really :) Actually it's a beautiful thing looking down and seeing my SON growing. We have 2 names picked out. We decided to wait to see what he looks like to give him his name. Some other changes I have noticed thus far include:
1. Everything tastes delicious!
2. The pleasant smells smell amazing, not so bad with unpleasant smells.
3. My weight is carried in hips, thighs and buttocks...gotta love the Mexican in me :)
4. My hair and nails are growing like weeds.
5. My energy is fair to good during this trimester.
6. My skin is glowing; however, my complexion reminds of teenage days
7. My body aches at every position I sleep in, but thanks to our new bed, it makes it a more comfortable
8. I can feel him move around. It's the most amazing thing in the whole world.
9. I'm waking up more at night to use the bathroom
10. My head aches everyday I'm afraid :(
We got blue paint and are so excited to start the nursery. But first things first. The deer were moved downstairs. Rob built me a laundry room and hung them up on the walls. This is the start of his man cave :) Slowly but surely we are getting rid of our crap. I just have to keep reminding myself that it won't just be us anymore...need to get rid of the old and make room for the new.
My job is going great!! I work hard and long. This is my dream job. I can't believe I drove so far....but it has made appreciate this job so much more! I love what I do, the employees, the treatment I provide, the type of patients...its all wonderful. Thank you Lord for this chapter in my life!!
Stayed tuned for more updates :)

Our Prayer
Life is good right now thank you Jesus. We are awaiting the news of the baby's gender. Soon we will find out. :) Please Lord continue to bless my baby and all the unborn babies of my friends.
Prayer for Husband and Wife
Keep us, oh Lord, from pettiness,
Let us be thoughtful of word and deed.
Help us to put away pretense
and to face each other in deep trust
without fear or self-pity.
Help us to guard against fault finding
and to be quick to discover the best in each other
and in every situation.
Guard us from ill temper and hasty judgment.
Encourage us to take time for all things,
to grow calm, serene and gentle.
Help us to be generous with kind words and compliments.
Teach us never to ignore, never to hurt,
never to take each other for granted.
Engrave charity and compassion in our hearts.
Amen.
I am forever grateful for my husband.

Smile with your Eyes
Hello my lovely ladies,
I have been busy! My new job is going great. I absolutely love it. My drive is short and sweet. My gas tank is filled less frequently. I am working hard for that extra $ but it's worth it. This is my calling, this is the place God wants me to be. There was a rather scary situation at the hospital with my patient that happened right in front of me. My other patient witnessed it as well and then began crying. Hormonal me fought my hardest to not cry! I was strong for her. The patient was okay and later saw me. She says, "Hello sweetheart," and took my hand & gently rubbed it across her face. So sweet. I almost lost it again. There is a sense of God, power of prayer and healing that goes on in this inpatient unit. I am in love.
My pleasantly pregnant self is doing well. Gosh I love wearing scrubs! I feel great and blessed with this pregnancy. I am lucky to feel this good. Thank you Jesus! Rob has been amazing. I had an ultrasound the other day. The baby was bouncing around, waving it's arms...it was the cutest thing. I cried lol...I almost forget we are expecting but then I saw our little living being on that screen. How miraculous God is. Everyone knows at work; my boss, co-workers, nurses, aides...everyone. I need them to be aware and help me out. It's a natural part of life, I don't know why I was so scared.
I pray that God is the center of your universe during all trials and triumphs. The power of prayer really works. Praise the Lord!
